Why? 2013: people from all over the Diocese came together to develop Four Strategic Prioritieswith the aim of making Winchester a Mission-shape Diocese, enabling us all to livetheMission of Jesus.
2014: each Deanery in the Diocese consulted, prayed and developed its own Deanery Mission Action Plan, outlining at a Deanery level its own priorities, based on the four set out by the Diocese. The Winchester Deanery Mission Action Plan can be accessed here. 2015: each Parish or Benefice with our Deanery is tasked with taking this to a very practical level - i.e. to discern, listen and develop its own Parish/Benefice Mission Action Plan locally. The Process The process for developing the pMAP is very similar to the dMAP - i.e. it is a process of reviewing, planning and acting. The Diocese has produced a number of guides - stepping stones on the process to follow and useful tools of how to get where you need to be e.g. by holding a Triple Listening Event (listing to God, Community and Each Other).
