The Winchester Deanery Day - 5 October 2013

On Saturday 5th October 2013 more than one hundred leading lights and moving spirits from across the Winchester Deanery assembled in Christ Church Winchester. The aim was to share the experience of the Diocesan Synod Conference held in Winchester - and what it meant for us in the Winchester Deanery. There was a great turnout from across our benefices including Wardens, PCC members, Deanery Synod Reps, Readers, Clergy, Ordinands, enthusiastic volunteers and a surprise visit from Bishop Tim. The morning was an opportunity to hear the key messages of Mission, to find ways of evolving and developing local expressions of it in our own churches and communities, and for Paul Kennedy (Area Dean) and Phillip Cochrane (Assistant Area Dean) to listen to ideas, suggestions and thoughts from the voices assembled in the room.

Below you can download documents from the day:
- Voices from the Winchester Deanery gives a flavour of the day and includes links to the Mission Videos shown, sound bites from the key speakers and the feedback gathered live on the day from the attendees
- Where we are now captures the written feedback from the tables
- Deanery Day Shopping Lists are the lists that some tables handed in on the day documenting what they would like from the Deanery centre
